Biography

Jasmine has been a committed vegan for over seven years. Her journey began after she Googled what the word "vegan" meant and came across Earthling Ed's documentary "Land of Hope and Glory." Profoundly moved by what she saw, Jasmine made the life-changing decision to go vegan on the spot and hasn’t looked back since.

For the past year, Jasmine has been an active animal rights activist. She has taken part in street outreach, art installations, protests and vigils. She also helped to organise the 14th National Animal Rights Day (NARD) in Bournemouth. Her passion for animal rights drives her to work tirelessly for a world where animals are free from harm and exploitation.

Jasmine graduated from university with a first-class degree in Digital Design & Web Development. During her final year of university, she started her own freelance business, 'Jas Designs Co,' where she specialises in brand identity design, website design, and app design for small startups.

In her current role as the Design Lead for We The Free, Jasmine aspires to combine her passion for animal rights with her skills in design. She aims to use design to make a positive impact and to help create a better world for animals.

I wake up every morning feeling incredibly grateful that I get to do what I do.

Being able to combine two of my biggest passions, animal rights and design, is a huge blessing that I never take for granted. Every day, I have the opportunity to create impactful designs that advocate for the voiceless, and I get to do it alongside an incredible team of like-minded animal rights activists who inspire me constantly. Working for We The Free allows me to channel my creativity and dedication into making a real difference in the world, and for that, I am truly thankful.
