Biography

Kai has spent the last decade amongst the animal rights movement in the aim of dismantling the commercial animal abuse industry.

Specialising in street outreach, he has organised hundreds of grass-roots activism events and personally outreached thousands of individuals.

A staunch proponent of evidence-based advocacy, he has spent recent years teaching communication strategies informed by cutting-edge behavioural psychology along with creating high-quality training and resources for advocates across the world.

He currently advocates through We The Free to build thriving street outreach communities, level-up their advocacy and plant the seeds for lasting social change.

It can often feel isolating being vegan (let alone a passionate advocate) in this very non-vegan world of ours. Working with We The Free has helped change all of that.

It has helped cultivate a large and thriving community of like-minded individuals in my local area who have become many of the most important people in my life.

It has brought me into an even greater global community of hundreds of passionate advocates whose shared passion, collective knowledge and constant innovation is valuable beyond measure.

And lastly, it's connected me with a smaller network of some of the best and most experienced animal advocates in the world. Their mentorship has helped me feel not only supported as an activist but welcomed, cared for and valued as an individual.
