Biography

James became involved in the animal rights movement and We The Free in 2020, starting as a volunteer organiser for the Canterbury outreach team while completing his undergraduate degree in Evolutionary Anthropology. He later transitioned to a role as Regional Support for the UK before taking on a full-time position as a Campaigner with We The Free.

Beyond his work in animal rights, James also runs a nonprofit organisation in West Africa, dedicated to providing children from underprivileged communities with access to formal education. He strongly believes that education is key to building a world free from animal exploitation. To this end, James has delivered talks on veganism to hundreds of secondary school students across the UK, inspiring the next generation of advocates.

In his current role, James combines his skills in advocacy and communication to design impactful, thought provoking campaigns aimed at spreading the vegan message to a broader audience. He is also actively involved in fundraising efforts to support campaign initiatives and ensure activists have the resources they need to continue their vital work.

I enjoy working for We The Free because as an organisation, they focus on the main things that I believe the animal rights movement desperately needs.

Which is a cohesive community that works together and data driven advocacy. Their abolitionist approach, mixed with their desire to implement the most effective strategies at our current disposal attracts the kind of people that inspire me and are also such a pleasure to work with.
