• 🌱Vigil to Sanctuary🌱

On Friday the 20th of November, our team will be attending a vigil at ABP Slaughterhouse in Langport... we understand that these types of events are not for everyone. So please only join us if you feel you are emotionally able.. this is a joint event following a visit to Pear Tree Farm Animal Sanctuary for a volunteer afternoon, and to be with the animals.

If you can make the vigil, this will start at around 7:30am.. usually we leave around around 12:30pm.

We will go straight from Langport to the sanctuary for 1pm.. where the beautiful ladies who run it will give us a list of jobs to do for the animals. You'll have time to go and meet them all..

If you can only make the sanctuary, meet us in the sanctuary carpark at 1pm...

There will be a social and a weather dependant fire at our retreat in Glastonbury that evening.. so if you're traveling far, there will be an opportunity to stay the night to save you traveling back.

What to bring... packed lunch, rain coat, winter wear, wellies, also any apples and carrots for the pigs, sheep and goats if you'd like to feed them..
