Monthly gifts doubled for Cambridge in 2026
Welcome to WTF: Cambridge's fundraising page!
Founded in September 2023, WTF Cambridge is a growing community of people who believe animals deserve better. We come from different backgrounds, professions and age groups, but we share one common purpose: speaking up for animals through compassionate public outreach.
At least once a month you'll find us in Cambridge city centre running the 3 Minute Movie Challenge. We invite members of the public to watch a short, thought-provoking film in exchange for a plant-based snack, before having open, respectful conversations about our relationship with animals. These conversations encourage people to reflect on their own values and inspire lasting change.
Beyond outreach, we also organise social events and community gatherings throughout the year. These spaces are just as important. They allow activists to build friendships, support one another, and stay motivated for the long term while helping prevent burnout.
Why We're Fundraising
Everything we do is powered by volunteers, but effective outreach still requires resources. Your support helps us continue reaching people with open hearts and minds while ensuring our events are as impactful and welcoming as possible.
Funds raised will help us:
Maintain and improve our outreach equipment and materials.
Cover the running costs of our monthly outreach events.
Support community gatherings that strengthen and retain local activists.
Expand our reach so we can inspire even more people to choose compassion.
Every donation helps us build a stronger, more resilient movement for animals here in Cambridge.
Your Donation Goes Twice as Far
Thanks to an incredibly generous matching donor, every dollar donated will be doubled up to $1,500.
That means:
Donate $10 → $20 supports our outreach.
Donate $50 → $100 supports our outreach.
Donate $100 → $200 supports our outreach.
Your generosity can have twice the impact for animals.
The Difference You Make
Your support allows us to keep bringing these important conversations into the public space.
As a guide:
💚 $10 helps us engage with more than 20 people.
💚 $25 helps us engage with more than 50 people.
💚 $50 helps us engage with more than 100 people.
💚 $100 helps us engage with more than 200 people.
💚 $250 helps us engage with more than 500 people.
Transparency
We're committed to using every donation responsibly. Funds are carefully managed to maximise our impact, and we're always happy to share updates on how your support has helped our local team grow and reach more people.
Whether you choose to donate, share this fundraiser, or simply encourage others to learn more about our work, you are helping create a future where animals are treated with the compassion and respect they deserve.
Thank you for believing in our mission and for standing alongside us.
With gratitude,
Team WTF Cambridge 💚
